I have always love my Davidoff Mesenger bag that is big enough to put in a laptop and Ipad for my everyday use. The simple and elegant design has made it both casual looking and yet can be used during formal occasion.
Ever since I came across the 200+ years old Russian leather from Rudy, I have always wanted to have a bag made by these rare leathers. However, owing to the scarcity of the leather plus I hope to continue to use my existing Davidoff messenger bag, I have approached Rudy to help me personalized my Davidoff bag with these rare leathers that were buried under the sea for more then 200 years. By doing so, I can have the best of both world : )
For a start, Rudy has to skillfully removed some part of the original leather by hand. Having been in the business for a long time, Rudy is fully capable of making these.
Following which, Rudy will need to optimize the rare leathers to see how it could be incorporated in the overall, bag while maintaining its original design but with the personalization. Much of the responalization will require detail planning in advance and Rudy has already visualized how the bag would look before the execution.
After all the removal and measurement, he will need to stich the 200 yeas old Russian leather and combined the old leather into the new.
With all the reconstruction, the newly born custom made Davidoff bag is ready for use. Everyone that has seen my bag has said that the personalization looks great and the design is really unique.
Look at the detail hand stitch work ...so perfect..
