Vintage eyewear collection is very interesting as it invlves knowledge and detrmination to find. As a start, these are the things to look up for:
1. There are many fakes, so be careful
2. Find them in NOS if possible
3. Specialize in one or two brands first
4. Collect what you like..
For the Tart, the most sort after is the Tart Arnel in Amber colour followed by black colour and the others. The Tart has a varities of series with the Arnel being the most famous and sort after folowed by the FDR, Bryan and Countdown etc...
There are also some other Tart vintge eyewear that Tart produces OEM for other brands like American Oprtical, Regency etc....
In the 60s, the hallmarks of Tart often are only in the side and the consistency may not be there...
