Uniqlo Made in Japan jeans

Uniqlo Made in Japan jeans

I went shopping at this evening and came across the Uniqlo  "ALL MADE IN JAPAN" selvaged jeans (regular straight fits, blue denim) for HK$399 only.

The selvedge denim line is for true denim aficionados. Typically only offered by premium denim brands, because of the unique and costly production of the fabric, which is woven from seam to seam resulting in the iconic red inseam.

The denim was made by famous Kaihara Co. in Japan (広島県福山市, a 100-year-old mill in Hiroshima that makes denim for over a dozen retailers, including Levi’s, Gap, and J.Crew, as well as specialty brands like Citizens of Humanity and 7 for All Mankind, Edwin, Lee, Bobson, BigJohn, Moussy  J CREW, World, Renown)and all production process have been done in Japan this time.
